The Batesville High School boys varsity basketball team has been invited to play in two of the best venues in the state of Indiana – Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and the historic New Castle Fieldhouse.Batesville Varsity Basketball Events 2014-15 SeasonThe Bulldogs will travel to Indianapolis to play Jac-Cen-Del as part of the Circle City Tip Off Classic. The Bulldogs and Eagles will be the second of five games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday, Nov. 29. This game, which is scheduled for 2:45 p.m., replaces the originally scheduled meeting in Osgood on the same date. Tickets for the battle between the Bulldogs and Eagles are on sale at Batesville High School for $12. The presale ticket price for children 3 to 12 years old is $8, while children 2-years-old and under will be admitted free. Tickets sold the day of the game will be $14 through the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office.Coach Garrett’s Bulldogs will be participating in the City Securities Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday, Dec. 27, in New Castle. The Bulldogs will face Class 4A preseason No. 1 Southport High School in game one at 11 a.m. The second game will pit Brownsburg and Penn. The evening session will consist of a consolation game at 6 p.m. with the championship to follow. Tickets purchased in advance are greatly discounted. Basketball fans can purchase tickets for $10, which includes the entire day of basketball. They can be purchased at Batesville High School in the athletic office during regular school hours.
